What is the difference between Lumineers and regular veneers?
Lumineers are an ultra-thin no-prep brand of veneer. At Smile Design Center, we specialize in traditional custom porcelain veneers, which offer superior flexibility in design, shade, shape, and correction ability for the vast majority of cases. Our veneers are crafted at a premium dental lab for natural-looking, long-lasting results.
Does the veneer process hurt?
The preparation appointment uses local anesthesia, so you will not feel any discomfort during the procedure. Some patients experience mild sensitivity for a few days after preparation while wearing temporaries, but this resolves when the permanent veneers are bonded.
How many veneers do I need?
